The Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship was established in September 2007 by Nanyang Technological University and Lien Foundation. It honours the legacy of late Dr Lien Ying Chow, who co-founded Nantah, the predecessor of NTU, and made significant contributions to the growth of Singapore.  The programme is targeted at high-profile government officials and senior management level professionals and academics from Singapore and China. They must be keen to study policy issues related to their respective fields and make a difference to the society.  Fellows from the two countries are exposed to each other’s unique environment and culture, so as to promote stronger partnerships and ties between Singapore and China.
